Request for 2025-2026 Enrollment in Harvard Integrated Preschool Program
January 15, 2025
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Thank you for your interest in the Harvard Integrated Preschool Program. We are now accepting applications for peer models for the 2025-2026 school year. Children who live in Harvard or Devens and turn 3 years old on or before August 31, 2025 are eligible to apply. The Preschool Program is housed at the Hildreth Elementary School and is designed as a special education integrated preschool program. Our classes serve children between the ages of three and five who require special education programming. We include typically-developing peers to join our program as peer models.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Instruction is delivered in a developmentally-appropriate manner and focuses on a variety of skill areas including: language, phonemic and phonological awareness, early literacy skills, gross motor, fine motor, math, and social skills. The curricula are aligned with the Massachusetts Frameworks for Preschool, which focus on readiness skills for Kindergarten.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
We offer half-day sessions of our program (either 9:00-11:45 or 12:45-3:30). However, we anticipate having a limited number of full day slots in our four year old classroom (9:00-3:30). Please indicate on your application if you are interested in being entered into a lottery for one of these full day slots. In order to access our full day preschool program, your child must be 4 on or before August 31, 2025.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Please complete the form linked below by February 15, 2025. Acceptance for enrollment is conditional on the availability of slots. A lottery will be held on February 28, 2025, based on the number of available slots. You will be notified by email if your child is selected for a spot or placed on our waitlist. A commitment letter and deposit of $200.00 (applied toward tuition) will be required within 14 days of acceptance to secure enrollment.
