Student registration is now online

To begin the online process you need to  complete the Pre-Registration form. Once the Pre-Registration form has been reviewed, you will receive an email with instructions on how to create an account and complete the remaining enrollment forms.

New Student Enrollment: Required Documents

Below is a list of required documents needed to complete your student’s online enrollment:

Your school-age child may qualify to enroll in school immediately, even if lacking documents normally required for enrollment if the student is in any of the following situations:

- Living in a shelter, a motel, or campground due to the lack of alternative accommodation
- Living in a car, park, abandoned building, bus or train station
- Doubled up with other people due to loss of housing or economic hardship - Living in Foster Care

Health Form:

• Each child must have a physical examination by their primary care physician dated within 1 year of enrollment with a copy provided to the school. A form is available to download below.

Proof of Residency

Please provide one of these documents:

• Signed and Dated Rental/Lease Agreement
• Deed
• Notarized Letter of Residence Verification Form (if you live with friends or relatives). 

Please provide two of these bills:
(Must be dated within 60 days) 

• Taxes
• Water
• Electric
• Cable

Birth Verification Form:

• A copy of the student's birth certificate

Massachusetts Household Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals
Children need healthy meals to learn. The Harvard Public Schools offer healthy meals every school day. In School Year 2023-2024, all students will receive free breakfast and lunch at school. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has provided money to do this for another year through the State budget. We need your help to keep providing free meals to all students in future years. Please fill out this application for free and reduced price school meals. If many families fill out and return this form, we will receive more money from the federal government for free school meals now and in the future. We will also get more money for other school programs. Filling out this form also helps our community provide free summer meals to all kids, and free meals to kids in childcare. The information you provide is confidential. We follow strict federal rules to keep your information private.
